Edward (Ted) McNabola has successfully handled hundreds of professional negligence, personal injury and class action cases, including a settlement in excess of 3.5 million dollars for the family of a child that was the victim of medical negligence during delivery. He is a trial attorney who fights for each citizen's right to a trial by a jury of their peers.
Mr. McNabola joined Cogan & McNabola, P.C. in 1996 following his employment with Chicago defense firm, Dowd & Dowd, Ltd., where he was responsible for defending catastrophic injury cases involving interstate trucking, personal injury, wrongful death, aviation, general negligence, product liability and premises liability. Mr. McNabola graduated with honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He attended Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, where he graduated in 1992 and obtained his Masters Degree in Political Science in 1995 from Loyola University of Chicago. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Northwestern University School of Law, where he teaches trial advocacy. He is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. Mr. McNabola is also a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and was recently elected to the General Assembly of the Illinois State Bar Association. He is a featured speaker and a published author on various trial practice issues and was selected by the Illinois Law Bulletin Publishing Company as one of the 40 Attorneys Under 40 To Watch in the state of Illinois. He has also been named as one of Illinois' top 100 "Super Lawyers" according to Law & Politics magazine.
