Edward (Ted) McNabola has successfully handled hundreds of cases involving personal injury, medical negligence and class action, including a recent verdict at trial of $3.7 million for the family of a young woman who died as a result of negligent medical care. Also, Ted obtained a settlement in excess of $3.15 million for a Chicago Police Officer who suffered an injury resulting in partial loss of vision in one eye. His firm has obtained over $350 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured clients. His last three trials resulted in jury verdicts totally nearly $10 Million.

Ted is an Adjunct Professor at the Northwestern University School of Law, where he teaches trial advocacy. He was chosen as one of Illinois' top 100 "Super Lawyers" in a survey of licensed attorneys conducted by Law & Politics magazine. He is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Chicago Bar Association. Mr. McNabola is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and was elected by his peers to the General Assembly of the association. He is a frequent speaker and a published author on various trial practice issues and was selected by the Illinois Law Bulletin Publishing Company as one of the 40 Attorneys Under 40 To Watch in Illinois.

Mr. McNabola joined Cogan & McNabola, P.C. in 1996 following his employment with a prominent Chicago defense firm where he was responsible for defending catastrophic injury cases involving interstate trucking, personal injury, wrongful death, aviation, general negligence, product liability and premises liability.

Mr. McNabola graduated with honors from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, and obtained his Master's Degree from Loyola University of Chicago, where he concentrated on jury dynamics.
