Cogan & McNabola Names New Partner

John M. Power has been promoted to partner at Cogan & McNabola, P.C., a Chicago personal injury law firm.Mr. Power has practice law for twenty years and has achieved nearly $45 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.His record breaking achievements in the court room include a multi-million dollar jury verdict for the family of a baby who died after being misdiagnosed and sent home from a Kane County hospital.In addition, he recently won a record-breaking jury verdict for a woman who had a surgical instrument left inside of her.

Prior to joining Cogan & McNabola, P.C. in 2001, Mr. Power owned and operated his own defense firm, managing a dozen lawyers.During the eight years he ran the firm, Mr. Power concentrated his practice on malpractice defense, personal injury defense and insurance coverage issues.
