Does your law firm represent people injured in truck accidents throughout Illinois?

Yes, since 1992, we have successfully represented a significant number of clients injured in truck accidents on roads and highways throughout the state. We also represent surviving spouses and family members of people killed in truck wrecks in the state.

How much will it cost?

We handle all truck accident litigation cases on a contingency fee basis. You will pay attorneys' fees at the conclusion of your case, based on a percentage of the settlement or jury award we secure on your behalf. There may be some additional legal fees associated with the legal process. The contingency percentage amount and other costs will be discussed and clarified before you sign a retainer.

How long will it take?

Truck accident cases are often complex. Many take a year or longer to come to a resolution. Every personal injury case is different because so much depends on decisions you make about your case. We are not a quick-settlement law firm. We prepare every case to win in front of a jury, before we begin negotiating for a settlement with the insurance company.

How do I know what my case is worth?

We work with independent experts to determine the full amount of fair financial damages you are entitled to. We do not begin to assess the full amount of compensation to seek until your doctor agrees that you have reached maximum medical recovery. No lawyer should ever try to predict what final damages will be. We have an excellent record of results, but case results are not typical in any truck accident case. We invite you to visit our results page to review some of our significant cases.

What if I was partially at fault for the accident?

Under Illinois law, you are entitled to seek financial damages from the truck company up to the amount of the truck company's liability. If the truck driver was found to be 60 percent at fault, you are entitled to seek compensation totaling no more than 60 percent of your total financial damages.
